I went all the way inside the Seattle Washington temple for the first time a little over a week ago. They're even more beautiful on the inside. Why do people hate Mormons, because we're very different in some respects from your average Christian. We believe in the need for a prophet to guide the church to be just as vital today as in ancient times. We believe that man is not saved by faith alone, but by how one acts on their faith as well. We also believe that in the eternities after this life, the righteous will have the opportunity to keep learning and progressing, because we believe we are literally God's children. I should also say though, that the vast majority of Christians are very nice people. Most of my friends are mainstream Christians and Agnostics.
